"what are you doing?"
"what are you doing?"
"nothing."
"doesn't look like nothing. you're blushing."

"What are you doing?" Harry asked, raising a brow as Draco pulled away from their kiss and shoved his face into the crook of Harry's shoulder.
"Nothing," Draco said, the word coming out muffled.
"Doesn't look like nothing," Harry teased. "You're blushing."
"I most certainly am not!" Draco replied, managing to sound affronted even with his mouth pressed into Harry's neck.
Draco hesitated for a beat, then sighed. "You make me...nervous."
"Nervous?"
"Not nervous, exactly. More...Merlin, I don't know. What did Granger call it? She said you had some ludicrous Muggle name for the affliction. Margarine pies?"
Margarine pies? Harry mouthed to himself, repeating the phrase over and over, hoping it would magically start to make sense.
"Oh!" He said after a moment. "Do you mean butterflies?" He asked, biting his lip to hold back his laughter.
"Right, butterflies," Draco sniffed. "She told me it sounded like I had butterflies in my stomach and I told her I was demanding a new Healer until she had been evaluated by the entire Mind Healer department."
"She wasn't being literal," Harry chuckled. "It's a Muggle saying."
"I know that now," Draco said. "Besides, literal or not, I don't like it. It's unsettling."
"I don't like it either."
Draco finally removed his face, now returned to its typical pallor, from its hiding spot. He narrowed his eyes. "You don't like the fact that you give me butterflies?"
"Nope," Harry grinned.
Draco drew in a large breath, signifying to Harry that he was about to get a very long, very verbose, patented Angry Draco Rant.
Harry kissed him before he could start. "Butterflies live for about two weeks on average and I want us to feel excited and nervous around each other for a very long time."
"Oh," Draco replied, his cheeks starting to color again.
"You're blushing," Harry said, brushing a hand across Draco's cheek.
"Shut up."
