[challenge] the 100 women project
May. 3rd, 2018 09:46 ami was binge watching a bunch of jean at bookishthoughts' videos from earlier this year and she mentioned her 100 women project which reminded me that when she first posted about the project, i'd started to make my own list of 100 women i wanted to read but then forgotten about it. so, that's what i'm posting here today, a list of 100 women i want to read in my lifetime.
some women you may not see on here because i've already books from them (charlotte bronte, louisa may alcott, etc.) and because i'm not focusing on modern authors for this list but it's also possible and very likely there are female authors whose works i've just never heard of, so please recommend some of your favorites! i'm very passionate about diverse literature and i know this list isn't the most diverse, so please rec more diverse authors and works. as you can see, i only have 60 women on my list right now, so i need all the recs i can get.
( the list! )
