i wrote:

"i need a favor,” linda says and she sounds nervous but maze agrees, without even knowing what the favor is, because she’s desperate, desperate to close this rift between them, desperate to have her friend back and well, actions speak louder than words, right?

and i received the most beautiful, glorious fic from the_wavesinger:

five times natasha accosted pepper in an elevator with a gun (and one time she didn't).

it's a wonderfully told canon divergent fic with a different first meeting between pepper and natasha and i love everything about it. the characterizations are perfect, there are so many excellent details, and you can really see the growth of both natasha and pepper as people, as well as the development of their relationship. it's just a beautiful fic overtyall and i urge you to run over right now and read it!

i'm still perusing all of the other works myself so i don't have any other recs yet but be sure to go on over and check out the other works in the collection!

notes: different word counters gave me different word counts for this but when i posted a draft of it on ao3, ao3 said it was 365 words and when i numbered each word in google docs line by line it was also 365, so.
