So, it would seem that the world is out to get me because just days after I proclaim that I am an active LJ user, my Internet decides to stop working and forces me to become a temporarily inactive one. Once someone finally shows up to see what the problem is, I find out an entirely new modem is needed. Brilliant. And then after that came finals and I rarely used the computer except to frantically type reflection papers and research assignments at 4 A.M.

But I'm back now! With a vengeance a slew of posts coming. Yay!

P.S. Does anybody know the song in the subject line? I sang it to three different people recently and no one got the reference! So disappointing.

YESSS. I remember singing and putting on performances of that song (along with Heard it through the Grapevine and Margaritaville) on karaoke with my cousins when I was younger! Apparently this is not a very common childhood experience of most people?? Who knew!
