Miss Lovegood looked more resplendent than ever this evening.

 

Her gown was the color of sunlight and revealed far too much of her decolletage to be in fashion. Mrs. Weasley had gasped when she entered the room. Ginny had been forced to hide her laughter behind her dance card.

 

Ginny's eyes continued to find Miss Lovegood as the night progressed.

 

She told herself it was the bright coloring of the dress that had her staring at the woman so raptly. 

 

But that did not explain how desperately she felt the urge to see what Miss Lovegood was wearing underneath it.
