i love the story of emma and am pretty much guaranteed to love any adaptation or interpretation of it and i knew as soon as i saw the trailer for autumn de wilde's emma. i was going to adore it. i finally watched it back on my birthday (july 7th) and have pretty much been obsessed with it since.

i wanted to make icons back then but unfortunately didn't have access to any screencaps but luckily back in august some very kind souls (shoutout to forgedcosmos and the folks at kissthemgoodbye uploaded some and i was finally able to make some! this movie is so gorgeous i want to icon almost every scene. in all honesty, i went through every single screencap, of which there were thousands, and saved hundreds to icon but much to my dismay, i just couldn't get majority of those caps to work as icons, sigh.

this post has been languishing as a private post since...august 29th and i've been steadily adding more icons as i made them but now that the year is over, i figured it was high time to finally post them!
